1. To act as Administrative Head of the Division.
2. To remain responsible to General Manager for operation and maintenance of Trains, Ferries in his Division.
3. To supervise and co-ordinate activities of all Divisional Officers working under him.
4. To provide executive and operational guidance to the field staff and exercise control and supervision   over    them.
5. To attend sites of major accidents on first available opportunity.
6. To be responsible for any other works assigned by General Manager.
