1. Responsible to Addl. Director General/Infrastructure (ADG/I) for all matters and works as Project Director/Signal for “Modernization of signaling & interlocking system of 12 stations of Akhaura-Sylhet section of Bangladesh Railway”.
2. Responsible for execution of the contract agreement no. COS/IRCON/12 stations/cash, dated 30.03.2005 signed between Bangladesh Railway and IRCON International Ltd. India.
3. Responsible for execution, supervision, monitoring, control etc. of all the works under the project.
4. Responsible for day to day communication, holding meeting and making official co-respondents with the contractor.
5. Responsible for preparation of Annual Development Plan (ADP), annual budget and cost control.
6. Responsible for procurement, preparation of tender, tender evaluation, signing of contract, certification of bills etc.
7. Responsible for all establishment matter of the personnel working under the aforesaid project.
8. Preparation of Preliminary Development Project Proposal (PDPP), Development Project Proposal (DPP) & other related works for new projects.
9. Responsible for any other works assigned by ADG/I or higher authority.
